Solid timber Croft Oak doors are fitted here, combined with antique brass effect knobs and handles and a practical vinyl worktop.

Tall wall units were adapted to fit an uneven corner and the design successfully incorporated all the client's new appliances. Martha Mockford carried out the electrical work and tiling in this kitchen.

 

“I wanted a traditional feel combining all the good ideas of an older style kitchen such as smaller drawers, drawers under the oven, and deep drawers. Donovan then succeeded in incorporating all the great ideas modern kitchens have.

 

It’s made the kitchen even better.  It’s so big compared with before and so practical.  The sink is under a different window with a nicer view and the cupboards are easily removed to access the back for any maintenance.”
