The Iona in frame shaker from Kitchen Stori from Northern Ireland is in Natural Oak; a classic kitchen, to say the least. The clean lines and clean timber selection gives the kitchen understated class; while the deep-set centre panel gives the kitchen a slightly contemporary feel. The accessories range includes delights such as bottle store drawer unit, chopping board, tray sets, as well as glazed doors, and of course curved doors. As with many of Kitchen Stori’s excellent kitchens, the Iona is available in a range of standard sizes as well as bespoke sizes. This Natural oak Iona is also available painted to your colour.
In Frame / Front Frame kitchens are of a particular type. The actual kitchen door is set into a frame, the frame is fixed to the cabinet. Recently this build system has been made more popular, the use of some of the easy joinery systems like cam and dowel have made this system more accessible. At Martha Mockford we do have “inexpensive” front frame kitchens; we do not tend to advertise them. To some extent, I am of the opinion that if you are seeking a premium kitchen then a cheap way of doing it is not what you are looking for. We use proper joinery biscuits to glue the frames onto the cabinets, we use but hinges to the doors; we seek a traditional cupboard like finish to our work. We use our joinery and engineering skills to create a classic front frame kitchens.
