The Tavola is a timber veneered kitchen available in a range of stained lacquers and painted colours. The stained timber veneer gives this door a something else factor. There are very few oak veneered doors available and this one is available in seven different stain finishes. From Cinnamon through to Hacienda black there is a choice and we all like choice? If you are looking for a contemporary kitchen with something else then look no further.
This timber veneered kitchen is post lipped and one can just see the lipping. We at Martha Mockford in conjunction with or furniture friend Rex Helstone have in the past made pre-lipped kitchen doors. A pre-lipped door is edged before it is veneered, it has to be made by hand no machinery can achieve this work. The effect one can achieve by hand veneering a kitchen is beyond belief if one is prepared to pay. We have done a few of these very specific kitchens mainly for London clients. I would like the opportunity to do this work again but with a large grain such as Brazilian rosewood where the grain of the veneer is seen to run around the kitchen from one door to another.
