The Wakefield light oak kitchen as a traditional frame kitchen door. The frame is flat jointed and is of around 70mm wide with a detailed traditional bead to the flat centre panel. The Wakefield whether painted or in natural oak is an excellent kitchen for our Devon houses. The door design is an understated classic. One of my favourites, the range of accessories available is vast.
Cleaning one’s kitchen is a lovely task that one has the opportunity to do most days if not every day. When cleaning the doors, in the case of a natural oak door such as this; one needs a wrung out cloth only. Perhaps a bit of detergent if absolutely necessary, certainly not a cream cleaner or anything abrasive. It is important to maintain the kitchen doors as dry as possible at all times. the main area of wear that one needs to note is the sink and dishwasher door knob areas. These are the areas in a kitchen that one tends to use with wet hands. Not a good idea.
