The Florence Painted Contemporary Kitchen is a smooth finished Mdf wide frame square kitchen door with a bead to the inside of the frame to the flat centre panel. As with many Mdf painted kitchen doors this Florence is painted to a flat matt finish. This flat matt finish of the door enhances the contemporary nature of this otherwise shaker door.

Product Description
The Florence painted kitchen is a Mdf kitchen door painted to any one of twenty-one colours. The bead to the frame and centre panel gives the door a detail of interest. On the Mdf foundation, the paint finish gives a flat matt texture, which is quite contemporary and easy to clean. As a matt finish, it does not show the finger marks that gloss kitchens are accused of. The Florence kitchen is very much where it is at if you are looking for a synergy between contemporary and classic. The Wakefield also from Kitchen Stori offers a similar beaded frame to the Florence, but with a grain, texture over an ash foundation.
Kitchens today are living spaces not just work rooms. We have been knocking down the wall between our kitchens and dining rooms for years on end now even if we did not start off with a large kitchen it is often getting larger. We live in our kitchens these days, we have our radios, our televisions and more. Kitchen design is about accepting that the room is not just a kitchen it is a living space. I am often designing space for soft furnishings; along with peninsulas of kitchen design one side and sitting room architecture on the back side.
